Cassie Cardoza grew up in Washington state; however, her love for cycling didn't blossom until the last couple months of her undergraduate studies in Cello performance at Central Washington University. It was mostly by happenstance that she participated in a triathlon in May of 2013, and although the swimming and running portion left little to desire, she was immediately taken by cycling. She began racing competitively for the first time in her collegiate cycling conference. She eventually moved to Montana to be with her husband and continue studies in Music Education at Montana State University. Graduation and jobs led them both to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where the cycling scene is exploding! It wasn't long before Cassie joined a local women's race team, Team isocentric, where she loves nothing more than to lay it all on the line for her teammates. Courses with hills are her favorite! When she isn't on the bike, Cassie can be found teaching elementary music, wrenching on bikes at her local shop, City Cycles, or spending time with her husband Drew and their two Australian Shepherds, Kruen and Magnolia.
