For 2018, Lindsay Goldman is taking on the role of fully managing the team while also running
her business development consulting practice and having a daughter who is scheduled to arrive
in February. She optimistically plans to return to racing by the end of the season, and rides the
trainer every day now accordingly. We are fairly certain she will bring her trainer to the delivery
room. Everything else there is to know about Lindsay is probably already published on the
DOB: Halloween 1984
Current Residence: Scottsdale, AZ
Turned Pro: 2013
Cycling Disciplines: Road, MTB (poorly)
Specialty: Suffering, whether I’m doing a leadout, chasing down attacks, launching a breakaway, or logging dozens of hours training indoors.
Best Moment in Your Cycling Career: Wrapping up my 2017 season at the Armed Services Cycling Classic (my hometown race) and winning the Most Courageous Rider jersey. It was my first race back after a bad crash, and my final race before stopping due to pregnancy.
Any Race Day Habits: Core work in the morning, a few cups of coffee, and a solid warm up (probably on a trainer).
Favorite Race: The Redlands Bicycle Classic – the fans are wonderful, the courses are great, and
I love the area.
Goals for 2018: Get back to racing well after my daughter is born and figure out how to balance
motherhood and professional cycling. Favorite Non-Cycling Activity: Exploring the world with my husband, walking and eating our way through every city.
Biggest Fear: Roaches. I’d rather eat my own foot than see one. That and regret: I never want to finish a race kicking myself for not riding harder or making the right move.
