SNOWYMOUNTAIN PHOTOGRAPHY

SnowyMountain Photography comprises the wonderful Nathan and Morleigh Schneeberger. They’re joining our team for a second season and will continue to provide top-quality photos at races and behind the scenes.

Morleigh Schneeberger
Morleigh was born in Madrid, Spain. As an American born in a foreign country Henry Kissinger signed my birth certificate. She is fluent in three languages (French, Spanish and Swedish) and can muddle through three more (Italian, Russian, and American Sign Language). Although she does not ride bikes, she is passionate about Women's cycling.

DOB: 4/6/68
Current Residence: Lake in the Hills, IL. (Northwest suburbs of Chicago)
Do You Ride? Do horses count? If so YES!
Role With The Team: As one half of SnowyMountain Photography, she is here to help tell the Supermint story on and off the bike through images, words, and occasionally video.
Favorite Race: Sunday Chicken Dinner Road race. This is one of the most competitive road races in North America that no one has ever heard of. It offers up beautiful, scenic terrain with few restrictions to get in the way of snapping memorable photographs.
Goals for 2019: Personal: To commit to and practice healthy choices on a consistent basis. Professional: To continue to use my voice and photography to raise the profile of and educate the public about Women's cycling - professional and casual.
Favorite Non-Cycling Activity: Naps!
Biggest Fear: As a non-cyclist, she has a great fear of missing something or speaking out of turn when engaged in a heated conversation about cycling.  So she does my best to stay educated on all things cycling so she can speak intelligently and accurately about the sport she covers and loves.
Must-Haves for Traveling: A sense of adventure, a willingness to try new things, and a great partner to share the experience with.

Nathan Schneeberger
Nathan considers himself a life-long athlete who was born and raised in Wisconsin (football, wrestling, track and field), went to college in Minnesota (football, indoor and outdoor track and field), did his graduate studies in New York (coached track and field), and then moved back to the midwest for work. He became a "cyclist" in 2010 after aging out of other competitive sports and found himself in need of a new hobby. SnowyMountain photography started in 2012 out of a habit of bringing a camera to bicycle races to help fill the hours before he raced.

DOB: 12/13/1977
Current Residence: Lake in the Hills, IL. (Northwest suburbs of Chicago)
Do You Ride? Yes, he has ridden and raced road, mountain, cyclocross, and gravel. Although in the past few years cycling has taken a back seat to SnowyMountain Photography and at times home renovation.
Role With The Team: As the other half of the SnowyMountain Photography, he is here to help tell the Supermint story on and off the bike through images, words, and occasionally video.
Favorite Race: Barry-Roubaix Gravel Race. He did this race 6 years in a row, and learned a lot about himself and cycling in the processes of training and preparing for it. It's a great venue, wonderful atmosphere, and something to keep oneself motivated during the dark winter months.
Goals for 2019: Personal: He would like to find ways to ride more and eat healthier while travelling. Professional: Work hard to create good content.
Favorite Non-Cycling Activity: Naps!
Biggest Fear: Heights
Must-Haves for Traveling: A van filled with two cots, the equipment we need to do good work, and a great partner with whom to share the experiences.
